August 4-6 Palo-Palo Festival A cultural celebration featuring the natural beauty and varied culture of Batanes, the country’s most secluded province in the north.

August 15 Lubi-Lubi Festival A celebration in Calubia, Leyte that features the importance of coconut, its different uses and products.

Movable Kadayawan Festival of Davao City is lively celebrated with horse fights, beauty pageants and street dancing. It is a tribute to three most important symbols of the the district, the tallest mountain- Mt. Apo, waling-waling flower and the nourishing fruit- Durian.
